Issues with site. Unable to publish changes so site remains un editable and is frustrating. Spent hours on redesigning only to realise all changes made were not displaying to my live website. The editor shows a whole different image and text display as to the changes made. Very sad as I did like the way the site was looking. The only option I had was to run an outdated version. No Thanks
Great theme. Ignore all the negative feedback. I have now been using the Dawn Theme for 2 years and it works great for my business.
In this new update, the “shipping protection” option, which gave you the option to increase the AOV by a few cents, is no longer available. Why is every update worse ?
This is an awesome theme that definitely doesn't deserve such negative ratings. Not just that fact that its completely free - It's always being upgraded, and its a massive step up from the old 1.0 free themes. Mega menu, mobile friendly features, excellent (meta)filters - its got pretty much everything you need for plug and play. Amazing how people who cant afford a paid theme give bad reviews.
With custom liquid and css, everything is possible in this theme. it's really a great base to make a unique template.
Stylistically, this theme is pretty great, but the DEAL BREAKER making this template completely unusable is the fact the Collection List has that silly arrow to the right of every Collection name. ARGH! Please make that arrow go away or at least add an option to remove it. That is literally the only things preventing us from using this template.
Love this theme - the only thing that could make it better would be the ability to have a link on a banner/photo instead of having to use a separate button!
Simple. Effective. Easy to use. One recommendation is to provide another menu access style instead of only the 3 line hamburger menu. I have personally had someone from an older generation literally not know how to navigate after going to my homepage on their cellphone. Please add a traditional individually selectable top menu option. Requesting desktop site in hopes of having this does not work.
It's insane to me that after 18 years of existing, Shopify still didn't make separate image folders for each variant... So that you can simply upload images separately and choose in Customizer whether to show images all together in product image slider, or just show the selected variant images. Free themes are useless without that feature when it comes to modern online retail in year 2024...
